Exhibitions and Cultural Projects

Green Lens Studios hosts an independent art gallery and cultural project space dedicated to exhibitions, research led artistic practice and public programmes. Our work explores the relationship between art, ecology and society through curated exhibitions, interdisciplinary collaborations and long term cultural projects developed in dialogue with artists, researchers and cultural partners.

Alongside our exhibition programme, we are committed to community engagement and education. We collaborate with local communities across generations to bring creative practice into community settings and everyday life. Through workshops, outreach initiatives and partnerships with local organisations, the gallery creates accessible pathways into contemporary art and environmental discourse, supporting cultural participation, critical thinking and wellbeing.

We also welcome collaborations with organisations, collectives, and practitioners whose work resonates with our values and curatorial interests. Green Lens Studios offers a flexible setting for workshops, talks, screenings, experimental learning, and artist-led programmes, and we are keen to work with partners exploring sustainable practice, alternative photographic processes, ecology, and interdisciplinary approaches to image-making and cultural production.

The gallery operates as part of a wider cultural venue, supporting artistic production, experimentation, and public exchange while remaining rooted in the local context of Haringey and its diverse creative communities. This broader framework allows us to connect exhibitions with workshops, talks, screenings, learning programmes, and collaborative research, creating space for ideas to develop across disciplines and in dialogue with different publics. We see the gallery not only as a site for presentation, but as a platform for encounter, process, and exchange, where artists, organisations, and communities can come together around shared questions of culture, ecology, and social change.
